Upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences and e-Learning

Posted Date: 10/13/25 (4:12 PM)

Hello Families,

Our first nine weeks have flown by, and it’s now time for Parent-Teacher Conferences, e-Learning, and Fall Break!

Thursday, October 16 – Parent-Teacher Conferences

There will be no school for students on this day.
Parent-Teacher Conferences for LMS will take place from 1:00–7:00 PM in the Auxiliary Gym.
When you arrive:
  • Please enter the building through Door 4.
  • Pick up your student’s report card at the table outside the Auxiliary Gym doors.
  • All teachers will be located inside the gym at individual tables.
This will be an open format—no scheduled times are needed. You may visit all or some of your student’s teachers at your own pace. Chairs will be available near each teacher’s table if you need to wait for a conversation.
If you are unable to attend in person but would still like to connect, please reach out to your child’s teachers via ParentSquare to schedule a time to talk.

Friday, October 17 – Live (Synchronous) e-Learning Day

Our e-Learning day will run from 8:00–11:00 AM.
Students are required to log into Google Classroom and Google Meet for each class period.
What to expect:
  • Instruction will be live and interactive, led by teachers in real-time.
  • Teachers will share Google Meet links in Google Classroom for each session.
  • Class periods will last 20 minutes each with 5-minute breaks for transitions.
  • Students must switch links between classes as they normally would move between periods.
The expectation is for all students to be active participants during their twenty minute period. However, we realize there could be any number of issues that arise that might prevent students from "attending" their live classes. Teachers will be recording their live classrooms and subsequently posting those recordings in their Google Classrooms, which will be available to be viewed at a later time. In addition, should a conflict occur that prevents the student from logging on to his/her classroom, it is imperative that the teacher be informed right away.

Please see the attached Synchronous e-Learning Schedule for specific times.

We look forward to seeing families at Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, engaging students online for e-Learning on Friday, and we wish everyone a safe and relaxing Fall Break!

Thank you,
Kelly Huntzinger
