LMS FUNDRAISER

Students brought home information about our PBIS annual fundraiser earlier this week!  PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support.  We want to provide extra things - fun things - for students to have throughout the school year.  Some of the things that we do include the following:

- Pop Day during lunch
- Raffles 2X year
- Prizes for 12 days of Christmas
- Agenda notebooks
- Dog Winner Prizes
- Snacks /Water

In order to provide these things for students, we have an annual fundraiser. Students are selling Otis Spunkmeyer cookies (and other food items), as well as items from their River City store.  Students will collect money now and turn in on September 8th. Checks can be made out to LMS.

Students can join the clubhouse which allows them to create an online account. Information to login to that is on the fundraising envelope they are brining home.  When they register they can also send a link to people by putting in phone numbers and sharing the school code which is LAPE22.

Please reach out if you have any questions. Thanks for your help and support in this fundraiser, it really makes a difference to our students.

Thank you!

Volunteer/Chaperone Information

All applications will expire and will need to be completed again (along with getting your Driver's License re-scanned) for the following school year after July 1.

FLCS is very thankful for all our volunteers that help our students and staff. If you are planning to or would like to volunteer (see examples below) at some time during the school year, you will need to complete two items prior to volunteering. (*Please note - this process needs to be repeated each school year.)

1) Please complete the online volunteer application (FLCS Volunteer Application).
2) Then, bring your Driver's License to the school office to be scanned through our Raptor Visitor Management System.

Volunteer examples include: field trip chaperone, classroom helper, athletics/coaching, library helper, cafeteria helper, tutor, office helper, fundraising, concessions, mentor, etc.

The application can also be found on our website under Human Resources.

Thank you.
